Pacto Ltd. Indonesia Immediate Responds to Mount Agung Volcano Situation

Following the high alert status for Mount Agung issued on September 22nd, 2017 by The Indonesian Center for Volcanology and Geological Hazard Mitigation due to the increasing volcanic activity, residents who lived within a radius of 12 kilometers from the crater close have been evacuated from their homes.

On September 25th, 2017, Pacto Ltd. Indonesia visited to one of the evacuation center in Denpasar Regency. Located in Sanur, the center hosts 90 families amounting to 305 persons. At the time, our team delivered support in the form of basic food items, hygiene kits, blankets and clothing.

“We have delivered immediately to the refugees allocated to our village support goods in the excess of 2,000 USD, according to our long standing practice of community support.  Since this situation is likely to last several weeks, or indeed months, it is our intention to organize further support. We wish to thank all our partners for allowing us to improve the lives of those who had to flee from their homes’’, shared Umberto Cadamuro, Chief Operating Officer Inbound of Pacto Ltd. Indonesia during his visit.

Playing Their Responsible Part in Society and Giving Back to The Community

PACTO Ltd. Indonesia as a pioneer in the tourism company throughout Indonesia since 1967, with multiple award winning service is going to celebrate its 50th anniversary this October 2017. One of  PACTO branch office in Bandung organized a social activity thru CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) on September, 20, 2017.

On this special occasion, Pacto Bandung branch office focused on supporting students as the national assets by providing full 2013 curriculum packages, and school library bookshelf to an educational institutions, MA and MTs Salafiyah Al Falah located at Bojongsoang Bandung.

Aneke Asriani, Branch Manager of Pacto Bandung in her speech conveyed the CSR activity as a reminder of the company’s responsibility for giving back to society. She hoped it would help in teaching and learning process of students and teachers.

While the principal of MA Salafiyah Al Falah, Dedi Rahmat , welcomed and expressed his gratitude to PACTO Bandung. “We thank you very much for this support. I wish your company great success and hope business will keep growing bigger”, he hoped.

Pacto Medan held a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activity at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Medan
in celebrating the 50th anniversary of  Pacto Ltd. Indonesia

Celebrating the 50th Anniversary of Pacto Ltd. Indonesia, all branches simultaneously held various social activities thru CSR which focused on education and the environment.

Muhammad Metto, Branch Manager of Pacto Medan confirmed this to SumutPublish.com. Especially for Pacto Medan, he said the charity was given in the form of building renovation, painting the classrooms, providing school supplies and cleaning supplies with tools to Madrasah Ibtidaiyah which located at Brigjen Zein Hamid Street, Medan.

Metto in his speech conveyed that the CSR funds is centered in the Head Office in Jakarta, and then distributed to all branch offices in Indonesia including Medan.

Head of Madrasah Mrs. Nurika Sos Ibtidaiyah was very honored and appreciated the assistance to her school. "Thank you, hopefully with this support, the students could feel more comfortable within their school environment. And as a result, self-esteem increases and students are motivated to engage in the learning process”, she concluded.

Pacto Ltd. Indonesia Completes the 4th Successful Roadshow in India
Mumbai and Delhi, 6 and 8 September 2017

Pacto Ltd. Indonesia, the pioneer Indonesian DMC of India roadshow held its 4th successful roadshow to India in the beginning of September. Offering product knowledge expansion for India Market and unique expertise and insights for Indian Market, Mumbai and Delhi were selected for the venue.

For the 19 partners from professional tourism industries in Bali including international and local chain hotels, activity supplier and restaurant as Hard Rock Hotel, Anantara Resorts, Archipelago International Group, Maya Resorts, Bali Dynasty Resorts, Bali Hai Cruises, Bali Safari and Marine Park, Bali Zoo and Queens of India Restaurant, the roadshow represented a unique opportunity to directly meet the most important Indian outbound players, as well as to know and understand their characteristic and needs.

“Pacto Goes to India” 2017 agenda included table top with tour operator’s frontlines in the morning session then cocktail followed by lavish dinner with owners and managing directors in the evening session.

Attended by an outstanding 140 tour operators at the table top meeting in the morning on the first day at Trident Bandra Kurla Mumbai Hotel and 60 selected tour operators at the seating dinner and cocktail party, the attendance record in Mumbai was shattered when more than 220 tour operators joined the same agenda in New Delhi two days later. The roadshow was closed by the speech from His Excellency Mr. Sidharto R. Suryodipuro, the Ambassador of The Republic of Indonesia in New Delhi.

Instead of protecting Indonesia’s marvelous environment, implementing poverty alleviation program is a part of our company’s commitment to CSR’’.

Vini also conveyed in her speech that concern for education is a reflection of a nation’s independence. ‘’Hopefully, what we are doing will have a better impact on our education’’, she added.

As the special celebration of Pacto Ltd.’s 50 years in service this year, all Pacto offices throughout the country are doing CSR activity; rotate every month for the whole year.  And Pacto Surabaya branch office organized this activity by helping an educational institution SD Muhammadiyah 24 Surabaya which was held on August, 19th, 2017, just two days after celebration of Indonesia’s Independence Day.

The charity was given by providing books and school benches, and painting the school crossing.
