Celebrating the 50th anniversary, Pacto Launch Billionaire Club and Carry the Tradition of Annual Award Night

In a series of events celebrating the 50th anniversary, Pacto organize the Award Night for the fifth year and present the Billionaires Club together with the launching of the annual catalog Indonesia’s Finest Villas & Resorts 2017.

Themed in times past and titled Pacto Award Night & Billionaire Club Launching, this remarkable occasion took place in the Movenpick Resort Jimbaran on Wednesday, March 22nd 2017.

Newly introduced in this historical year, the launching of Billionaire Club is purposed to acknowledge the partners who have good cooperation with PACTO and in return they achieve high revenue from the company.

Classified in three membership categories SILVER, GOLD and PLATINUM, this eminent club is revealing the total revenue achieved by the best supporting partner hotels.

SILVER Club with total revenue minimum 1 Billion per property was achieved by five hotels: Mercure Resort Sanur, Sol Beach House Benoa, The Tanjung Benoa Beach Resort, Holiday Inn Resort Baruna Bali, and W Bali Seminyak.

GOLD Membership with revenue in the level of 1.5 and 2 billion was successfully obtained by 8 hotels: Sun Boutique Hotel, The Jayakarta Bali Beach Resort, Pan Pacific Nirwana Bali Resort, Hotel Vila Ombak, Puri Bagus Lovina, Rama Beach Resort & Villas, Amanwana, and Bali Dynasty Resort.

Meanwhile for PLATINUM category with revenue above 3.5 billion per property was achieved by The Bali Dream Villa, Ayodya Resort Bali, Amanjiwo and Segara Village Hotel.

As annual agenda, this fifth Pacto Award Night also brings out a series number of winners. The Best Guest Experience 2016 this year went to St. Regis Bali, Amanjiwo and Matahari Beach Resort & Spa.

For Top Seller Outside Bali 2016 category, it was won by Villa Ombak, Amanwana and Amanjiwo. Meanwhile for The Best Seller 2016 it is awarded to Grand Mirage Resort & Thalasso Bali, Melia Bali dan Prama Sanur Beach Bali.

PACTO also dedicated the Top Supplier 2016 award to the activity supplier partners for their steady contribution throughout 2016 which is presented to Blue Water Express, True Balinese Experience and Bali Hai Cruise.

This year the awards has made more in numbers as well as in categories compared to previous years. As the most vital part of this 50th anniversary celebration, Pacto allocates certain funds for Company Social Responsibility activity that this year will be designated for buildings maintenance of the underprivileged schools in each area of all branch offices. The amount of the fund is also made bigger as a form of our concern and responsibility to the social-community.

PACTO currently has 7 branch offices throughout Indonesia including 2 branches in Bali. Each branch allocates around 500 million to support one school and the contribution will be given in accordance with the school’s needs such as building paints and stationery for the students. "This year the CSR activity will be held in April and June 2017 and we will support two schools in Bali while other branch will support one school in each area. We committed to support at least one underprivileged school a year’’ Umberto said.

When mentioning about revenue, Umberto claimed that Bali offices earn higher income than the other branches. Bali is very comfortable and safe for markets which currently still dominated by India and China. “Pacto is still focusing to work on Europe market such as Germany, Spain, Netherlands, Italy, Switzerland because the performance is fairly good.

During their five decades in service (1967 - 2017), Pacto has achieved a number of reputable awards and among them is Best Travel Agency in Indonesia in 2016, 2012, 2011, 2010, 2009 by TTG Awards, The Best Destination Management Company by the 6th Indonesia MICE Awards 2013 and The Best DMC Worldwide by the Travel Awards 2013.

 Caring for Education, PACTO Yogyakarta branch Holds CSR Activity for SPS Widowati Kalasan


Celebrating 50th anniversary of PACTO, one of PACTO branch offices located in Yogyakarta held the first CSR activities among other branches in Indonesia this year by helping an educational institution SPS (Satuan PAUD Sejenis) Widowati located at Karangmojo Puwomartani Kalasan (8/4). ‘’Our charity includes repainting school buildings, providing books, school and office equipment. This is a form of PACTO's concern for education”, said Gunawan Suryadi, Branch Head of PACTO Yogyakarta.


Gunawan also explained this activity will be continued in the future and still be focused for educational institutions.

Principal of SPS Widowati, Sri Hartati welcomed and expressed her gratitude to PACTO. “This CSR activity was very helpful in teaching and learning process of students and teachers”, she shared. Currently SPS Widowati has 31 students and has a Good achievement. (* / Adv)

 Pacto Ltd. Group Gives Donation to SDN 3 Tengkudak through CSR

THE GROWTH of a country can be measured by the progress of its education as one of the indications. On that account, this sector does not only become the responsibility of the government and parents, but also the private sector that is expected to play a role to promote it.

Celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Pacto Ltd, its subsidiary company PT. Bali Prima Holiday organized a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activity by helping an educational institution SDN 3 Tengkudak elementary school, located at Pengangahan hamlet, Tengkudak, Penebel, Tabanan. The charity was given in the form of building renovation by installing ceramic floor, painting the classrooms and all public areas, providing books and shelves for students’ library and also cash donation.

“SDN 3 Tengkudak is a presidential instruction-funded school established in 1979. In the academic year of 2017, we have total of 28 pupils consisting of 16 boys and 12 girls, ranging from second grade to sixth grade,” said Principal of SDN 3 Tengkudak, Ni Made Suarningsih, when giving a speech and expressing her gratitude to Pacto Group for the care.

The woman who led this school since February 2017 added that Pacto Ltd. is the first private company who give attention to her school “Hopefully, Pacto Ltd. and Bali Prima Holidays will continue to lend a hand to our and other educational institutions and this can encourage other companies to actively helping to improve the quality of our education,” she added.

Meanwhile Rika Larasati, the General Manager of PT. Bali Prima Holidays, in her speech conveyed that the CSR activity is an annual agenda of Pacto Group, and this year it is focused on education while last year was focused on tourist destinations.

“Our focus this year is on the field of education. It aims to take part in advancing the education of our children towards a better future for themselves, Bali and this beloved country. That is why we are taking this field as this year’s CSR target. Hopefully, what we are doing will have a better impact on our education,” added Rika Larasati.

Chief Operating Officer of Pacto Ltd., Umberto Cadamuro, also gave his welcome. “Today is quite special for the students of SDN 3 Tengkudak because we from Pacto Ltd. Group sincerely set aside our work to help the education here as well as the teaching staffs working in this school as a gift for the future of children at this school. Teachers and principal here have a very important task because education is the future of our children, Bali and Indonesia,” he said.

“Taking this as our concern, we put this initiative as a nationwide program of Pacto Ltd. Group. In 2017 as the special celebration of our 50 years in service, we are doing this program in every month for the whole year by all our offices throughout the country. Our focus this year is supporting the underprivileged schools, each month for different school in each area of our branch office” added Umberto Cadamuro.

“However, it must be remembered there is a simple thing for children here that learning is our future because without education there will be no progress. The India market keeps showing huge sustained growth to Bali for almost 2 years from 2014 to mid of June 2016. It is increasing into more than 120,000 tourists in 2015. The Pioneer Indonesian DMC of India Roadshow, Pacto Ltd. Indonesia has organized the 3rd successful roadshow to India. With as key theme “Pacto Goes to India 2016”, the main objective of the roadshow was to expand product knowledge for Indian Market.

The roadshow still took place in two major cities of India, Mumbai and New Delhi on 21 & 23 September 2016 respectively with 25 representative partners from the tourism industry of Bali including international and local chain hotels, activity supplier and restaurant as Accor, Conrad, Fairmont, Four Seasons, Grand Hyatt, Hard Rock, Intercontinental, Pan Pacific, Starwood, Bali Hai Cruise, Bali Zoo and Queens of India Restaurant.
The first day at the Trident Bandra Kurla Hotel, Mumbai saw an overwhelming 150 tour operators attended the free flow table top meeting in the morning with further 120 joining the dinner and cocktail party in the evening. Mumbai event was also completed by the presence of Mr. Saut Siringo-ringo as Consul General of General Consulate Indonesia in Mumbai.
Same similar agenda was set up at the Le Meridien New Delhi Hotel where more than 180 tour operators joined the table top and dinner, that culminated closing speech by His Excellency, Mr. Rizali W. Indrakesuma as the Indonesian Ambassador to India.

Referring to the success of both events, Mr. Umberto Cadamuro, Chief Operating Officer of Pacto Ltd. Indonesia stated that “having already achieved a great turnover in the Indian market, we have planned more activities to promote Indonesia, to help achieving target for the year and for the upcoming “Visit Wonderful Indonesia 2017”. Ltd. is another proof of how, at Pacto, we do not aim at capitalize sales in the short term but we reinvest in marketing to remain market leader, he added.
