In a joint initiative with OTOAI (Outbound Tour Operator Association of India), Pacto Ltd. has brought 26 partners from International and local chain hotels as well as prestigious activity suppliers in order to expand product knowledge in the Indian market.

The roadshow was run in two major cities of India, Mumbai and New Delhi, from 02 – 04 September 2015.

The first day begun in New Delhi with a full day table top which brought in 150s main tour operators and local travel agents both member and non- member of OTOAI in the free flow meeting, and was followed by dinner and cocktail party in the evening at the presence of His Excellency Mr. Rizaly W. Indrakesuma, the Indonesian Ambassador to India, Mr. Guldeep Singh Sahni, the President of OTOAI and Mr. Umberto Cadamuro the Chief Operating Officer of Pacto Ltd.

In Mumbai, similar agenda was set up in St. Regis hotel where more than 200 travel agents joined in the table top and the dinner in this magnificent hotel.

Excellent feedbacks were received from the participants who valued the most the significant networking through the evening social function as well as the free flow appointment that became the nucleus of the program. Same affirmative responses were also accepted from invited partners as the member of the association who found this initiative as a very effective media of familiarization for the new destinations and products for Indian market, especially considering the quality of the suppliers joining the initiative. Accor, Starwood, Conrad, Hyatt, Hard Rock, Ramada on the hotel side together with the prestigious suppliers such as Bali Safari & Marine Park, True Balinese Experience and Bali Hai Cruise.

As a pioneer DMC in Indonesia who specialized in handling Indian market, Pacto is constantly willing to contribute more in enlarging this market in terms of volume and quality. Supporting this effort, in India Pacto has the representative office handled by Absolute Hospitality Services Pvt. Ltd. who has started the collaboration since 2006. As a member of OTOAI, Pacto Ltd will always be ready to contribute constructively to the focus of the association and to promote Indonesia.
